Accessibility statement
How Playerlexicon is built to be usable by everyone, known limitations, and how to report a problem.
We want everyone to be able to look up a word on Playerlexicon, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have built in
- The search box works fully from the keyboard: type to see matches, use the arrow keys to move, Enter to open and Escape to close. Press “/” anywhere to jump to search.
- The genre map is made of real links, so you can tab through every genre; each one announces its related genres.
- Text has strong contrast against the dark background, and layouts reflow down to small phone screens without sideways scrolling.
- Animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and a skip link so screen reader users can move around quickly.
Known limitations
The site currently has a dark colour scheme only. Some source links lead to third-party sites that may not meet the same standard.
Report a problem
If something does not work for you, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We aim to respond within five working days. This statement was last reviewed on 2026-11-03.
